How This Whole Thing Started

Look, we'll be honest with you - Quantum Spirex didn't start in some fancy boardroom with venture capital and elaborate business plans. It started in a cramped Vancouver co-working space back in 2018, where we noticed something kinda ridiculous.

Every tech startup we met was brilliant at their thing - AI, SaaS, fintech, you name it. But when it came to their books? Total disaster. They were either stuck with old-school accountants who didn't get the startup world, or trying to DIY it with software they barely understood.

We figured there had to be a better way. So we built one.

The Journey So Far

2018 - The Beginning

Started with three accountants, two laptops, and way too much coffee. Our first client was a blockchain startup that paid us partially in crypto (we're still holding it, by the way).

2019 - Growth Mode

Hit 25 clients and moved into our first real office on West Georgia. Started specializing in tech startups because, honestly, that's where all our clients came from anyway.

2021 - Pandemic Pivot

Like everyone else, we went fully remote. Unlike everyone else, we actually got better at it. Launched our cloud-based real-time reporting system that clients still rave about.

2023 - Expansion

Added CFO advisory services after our clients kept asking "so what does this all mean?" Turns out startups need strategy, not just numbers. Who knew?

2025 - Today

We're now working with over 150 innovation-driven companies across BC. Still based in Vancouver, still obsessed with helping tech startups get their finances right.
